Baby Symphony complements its companion release, Baby Cello (CAA-116). The music has been chosen to engage baby by encouraging play and prompting a sense of wonder. Baby Symphony works on two levels. Studies have shown that classical music, played during pregnancy and to young children, has a beneficial effect on creative and intellectual development. Going further, Baby Symphony contains music by many of the most renowned classical composers of the past 300 years, and repeated hearings will not only familiarize young people with beloved melodies and phrases but will help them begin to appreciate the sweeping evolution of great music.
